- his parents died in a fire. no, really. the old orphanage caught fire, and as houses back then were built very close together, it didn't take much for the fire to travel. there were two babies from Roxas' household saved, him and one who happens to look eerily like him once they were older.
- his last name was one given to him by the church, meaning 'gift from the angel'
- his bff is Sora, same age, and they got into a lot of mischief together
- Sora was his first kiss when they were six, but they were firmly told that boys don't kiss other boys in churches, or girls either

- he and Sora once had to scrub out all the pots and pans in the kitchen after being caught getting tipsy from sneaking into the sacramental wine
